LDC/PSG-CHELSEA: MATUIDI CALLS FOR SUPPORT FROM ALL OF FRANCE!

The upcoming double clash between PSG and Chelsea continues to stir anticipation, despite not having occurred yet. With the Parisian club gearing up in secrecy for their Champions League quarter-final against José Mourinho’s side, the match is being viewed as a national affair across France, given PSG’s solitary representation at this level of competition.

Blaise Matuidi, exuding confidence, relies on the backing of the French public to overcome this challenge. “As competitors playing for a club like PSG, our ambition is naturally to clinch the Champions League in the near future,” he remarked in an interview with Le Parisien. “However, we acknowledge the quality of our opponents. While some claim we’ve only faced mediocre teams thus far, let’s reserve judgment until after these two encounters with Chelsea. Ask me in two weeks if we’ve advanced. If we make it to the semis, then we can contemplate our chances of going all the way. I firmly believe we have what it takes to go far, and I hope the entire nation will rally behind us.”
