The fate of Malian international midfielder Lassana Coulibaly is currently in the spotlight as Salernitana contemplates parting ways with the talented player. While the Italian club initially resisted the idea of releasing Coulibaly, recent developments suggest a shift in perspective among the club’s leadership.

Napoli has swiftly expressed interest in securing Lassana Coulibaly’s services, signaling a potential move for the midfielder. However, Salernitana, valuing their asset, has set a price tag of 10 million euros for any prospective suitors.

Notably, the midfielder has garnered attention from various European football powerhouses, with Lazio of Rome emerging as a noteworthy contender.

Lazio has reportedly entered the race for the Malian international, specifically eyeing the box-to-box midfielder. Salernitana, currently grappling with relegation concerns in Serie A, is keen on retaining Coulibaly’s services, recognizing his significance in their battle for survival.

Amidst the intense speculation, AS Roma has positioned itself as a key player in the upcoming summer transfer window, aiming to secure the services of the highly sought-after midfielder.

AC Milan, sitting comfortably in the third position in Serie A, eyes European qualification and sees Coulibaly as a valuable addition to bolster their squad.

Reports suggest that several European giants, including Villarreal and Arsenal, have also expressed interest in Lassana Coulibaly.

The midfielder’s existing contract with Salernitana is valid until June 30, 2026. In the event of relegation, Salernitana faces the challenge of retaining the Malian Eagle, whose current market value stands at 7 million euros according to Transfermarkt.

As the summer transfer window approaches, the competition for Coulibaly’s signature promises to be fierce, with multiple clubs vying to secure the talented midfielder’s services.
