Tunisian coach Lassaad Chabbi is set to remain as the head coach of Raja Casablanca ahead of next season.
This comes after the board of directors offered their support to the Chabbi despite his short-term stay.
Raja’s current management informed Chabbi that even if they leave at the end of the season in the electoral general assembly, he will continue in his duties and the team will not part ways with him, on one condition: that he leads the club to the Throne Cup.
Chabbi joined Raja in February on a temporary contract that extends until the end of the current season, while the Casablanca club prepares to elect a new president at the next general assembly.
Chabbi is Raja’s fifth coach since the start of the current season, following Bosnian Rosmir Cefico, Abdelkarim Jinani, Portuguese Sabinto, and Hafid Abdelsadek.
Raja exited the CAF Champions League early in the group stage and also lost the league title to Renaissance Berkane.
