Instead of joining his teammates for a quiet rest day, Barcelona’s rising star Lamine Yamal chose an unusual way to keep sharp.

After Barcelona’s opening day win against Mallorca, manager Hansi Flick gave the players a full day off, but Yamal decided to turn a boat in Monaco into his own training base.

The 18-year-old winger, fresh from the club’s academy, was seen working out on a private vessel fitted with gym equipment while overlooking the French Riviera. The calm waters and the view of the Principality became his backdrop as he lifted weights and pushed through drills with focus.
