Spanish forward of Moroccan descent Lamine Yamal was the star for Barcelona on Thursday night, scoring and providing an assist to propel the team to a 2-0 win against Espanyol.
The win means Barcelona are champions of the 2024/25 Spanish La Liga season.
On the matchday, Barcelona dominated the contest in the first 45 minutes but could not find the breakthrough.
After a goalless first half, Barcelona piled the pressure on Espanyol and broke down the team’s defense in the 55th minute.
Lamine Yamal scored with an outrageous strike after he was set up by Dani Olmo.
The talented winger continued to impress with his performance and turned into the provider for the second goal in injury time.
He teed up Fermin Lopez on the edge of the Espanyol box before Lopez fired an unstoppable shot into the back of the net.

The win has crowned Barcelona as La Liga Champions for the 28th time, with two games to go.
