Lamine Yamal continued his outstanding rise with a landmark goal for Barcelona in their Copa del Rey quarter-final against Albacete at Estadio Carlos Belmonte.
The 18-year-old winger opened the scoring with a brilliant first-half strike, curling a precise shot into the far corner to give Barcelona the lead. That effort marked Yamal’s fourth goal in as many matches across all competitions, underlining both his confidence and consistency in front of goal.
This is the first time in his Barcelona career that Yamal has scored in four consecutive games, achieved in the midst of his 135 appearances for the club.
His current form is exceptional, with six direct goal contributions, four goals and two assists, in his last five outings. Under Hansi Flick, the young winger has become an automatic starter, remaining in the lineup even as the coach rotates other positions.
Yamal’s influence has turned him into a constant threat on the right flank and a key part of Barcelona’s push for the Copa del Rey semi-finals against a stubborn Albacete side.
