Tottenham join race for Serhou Guirassy

Serhou Guirassy’s future at Borussia Dortmund is moving increasingly into focus as interest from abroad continues to grow.

According to Bild, the 30-year-old striker and his representatives have been exploring the market for months, making a summer transfer a realistic possibility.

A move to Saudi Arabia was once seen as a serious option, but that scenario has reportedly faded, opening the door for top European clubs instead.

Alongside AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspur are now said to be showing concrete interest in Guirassy. Spurs scouts have watched him several times recently and are believed to be in contact with his camp, signalling that the Premier League side are preparing a potential move. For Dortmund, this could create a strong negotiating position, as Guirassy’s 50 million euro release clause only applies to selected clubs, meaning any deal with Tottenham would be open to direct talks.

With Milan also in the picture, a bidding battle could drive the fee higher at a time when Dortmund are dealing with the financial impact of an early Champions League exit. The club therefore hopes Guirassy can finish the season strongly, boost his numbers and further increase his market value before a final decision is made in the coming weeks.
