Inter Milan forward Marcus Thuram has shared his view on which player is the best in the world at the moment.
The forward was in action for Inter Milan on Wednesday night when the team locked horns with FC Barcelona in their semi-final first-leg clash.
Marcus Thuram starred in the game and scored with a stunning strike in the first minute of the first half.
On the matchday, Lamine Yamal also impressed for FC Barcelona, scoring an amazing goal on the night as well.
After that goal, many described Yamal as the best in the world and deserving of the 2025 Ballon d’Or award.
However, Marcus Thuram disagrees.
Speaking in a post-match interview after Inter Milan’s 3-3 draw against Barcelona, the attacker selected Ousmane Dembele and Kylian Mbappe as the two best players in the world, arguing that at best Lamine Yamal is the third best player in the well.
“I don’t think so. The best player in the world is French; the second-best player in the world is also French. Maybe he is the third best,” Marcus Thuram said.
