Lamine Yamal speaks with the joy and ambition of a teenager ready to step into history.

The Barcelona forward is counting the days until the team finally returns to the new-look Spotify Camp Nou, a stadium he believes will lift both players and fans into something unforgettable.

In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, the 18-year-old was full of passion about what lies ahead for Barcelona. “I imagine it’s full of fans and it’s going to be a spectacular stadium,” he said.

The youngster remembers his debut at Camp Nou before the renovations began, a memory he still holds close. “I was very lucky to debut at Camp Nou before the reform began and I think that playing there again will give us a huge plus to compete.”

Yamal believes the roar of the crowd will drive Barcelona forward as they chase trophies in Spain and Europe. Beyond club glory, his heart beats for Spain’s future. “Hopefully. Winning the World Cup is the dream of any football player,” he added. “It would be something historic, but we have to go step by step with humility.”
