Spain attacker of Moroccan descent, Lamine Yamal is reportedly close to signing a new five-year contract with FC Barcelona.
Although the La Liga giants are not in the best financial position, the club is ready to satisfy the demands of the talented teenager to keep him at the club longer.
Lamine Yamal, 17, has been unstoppable for FC Barcelona since making his debut for the club in 2023.
This season, he has scored four goals and provided three assists after making 11 appearances for Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League.
In La Liga, Yamal has scored six goals, assisted 11 goals after making 28 appearances in the division.
Courtesy of his impressive performances in all competitions, the teenager has become a candidate for the 2025 Ballon d’Or award.
He has not signed a longer contract with the club due to his inability to sign a longer deal until his 18th birthday in July.
The club has watered the grounds, and the player will sign the new deal once he turns 18.
