Spanish defender Fran Garcia was full of praise for French-Cameroonian forward Kylian Mbappe on Saturday evening after his heroics in Real Madrid’s victory against Villarreal.
The Frenchman scored a brace against Villarreal in the Spanish La Liga game to earn a first away win for Real Madrid against the opponent since 2017.
With his two goals, Kylian Mbappe has now scored 20 goals in the ongoing La Liga season.
For Fran Garcia, Mbappe has proven his critics wrong with his impressive performance and goal scoring.
“After Mbappe joined Real Madrid, there was a lot of talk, but he’s an incredible player and he’s proven it. I knew he’d bring huge value to the team. It’s amazing how well he’s settled,” Garcia said in an interview.
Mbappe, 26, now has 31 goals in 44 matches in all competitions after signing for Real Madrid from PSG last summer.
