Korona Kielce consider move for Rakow’s Polish-Ghanaian midfielder Michael Ameyaw

Polish-Ghanaian midfielder Michael Ameyaw is reportedly being linked with a move from Rakow to fellow Ekstraklasa club Korona Kielce.

Ameyaw, 25, joined Rakow from Piast Gliwice in September 2024 in a deal worth €1m. He has since become part of the club’s midfield options, with his current market value listed at €1.5m.

The right-sided midfielder has made six appearances in Conference League qualifying this season, starting each match and scoring once. He has also featured three times in the Ekstraklasa campaign.

A move to Korona would keep Ameyaw in Poland’s top flight and represent a switch between two clubs competing in the same division. The reported interest comes after his involvement in Rakow’s European qualifying fixtures, where he has played 494 minutes and contributed one goal.

Ameyaw began his senior career with Widzew Lodz before joining Piast Gliwice in 2021. Rakow secured his services three years later, and he signed a contract that runs until 30 June 2029.

The player holds Polish and Ghanaian nationality and was born in Lodz. Any move would therefore involve a player under a long-term agreement at Rakow, rather than one approaching the end of his contract.
