A formal delegation from Kenya, led by David Morris, the Deputy Speaker of the Kenyan Parliament, visited the headquarters of the new Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club in the Smouha area on Wednesday evening.
Upon their arrival, the Kenyan sports delegation was welcomed by Ayman Awad, the Director of Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club, and Walid Shaaban, the Deputy Director of the club.
Mohamed Mousleh, President of Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club, stated that the visit aims to establish a mutual partnership between Al-Ittihad and the club associated with the Kenyan Parliament’s Deputy Speaker for sports cooperation and joint institution development between the two sides, aiming to enhance sporting aspects between the clubs and benefit from experiences in the sports field.
“Mousleh” explained that due to being on a business trip abroad, he delegated the club’s general manager to receive the Kenyan delegation, noting that “Morris” expressed his great admiration for Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club’s stadiums and various facilities, promising to make another visit to the club in the presence of the club’s president to activate the partnership, benefiting both clubs in the future.
Also present during the reception of the Kenyan delegation was Tarek El-Ashry, the head coach of the first football team at Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club, who was presented with the club’s jersey as a gesture of hospitality.
