Kenneth Omeruo, the 19-year-old Nigerian defender and African champion with Nigeria, may be loaned out for the upcoming season. Currently under contract with Chelsea, Omeruo’s coach, Stephen Keshi, is looking to secure playing time for the young talent.
Liverpool is reportedly interested in acquiring Omeruo on loan for the season, with competition from other clubs such as West Bromwich Albion (WBA) and Swansea. Last season, Omeruo was on loan in the Netherlands at ADO Den Haag. The potential loan move aims to provide Omeruo with more playing opportunities and also enhance his chances of representing the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles.
