Kayserispor linked with Angola-Portugal midfielder Fredy of Corum FK
Angola-Portugal midfielder Fredy has been linked with a move from Corum FK to Kayserispor in Turkey’s 1. Lig.
The 36-year-old central midfielder is under contract with Corum FK until 30 June 2027, but his name has emerged in connection with a potential switch to Kayserispor. The rumour was reported on 2 September, with no transfer agreement confirmed.
Fredy has featured in all three of Corum FK’s possible Super Lig matches this season, providing one assist. He joined the club from Bodrum FK on a free transfer in January 2026.
His possible move would see him leave Corum FK after a short spell with the club, having arrived midway through the 2025-26 campaign. Fredy had previously represented Bodrum FK after moving from Eyupspor, where he helped win the Turkish second-tier title in the 2023-24 season.
Born in Luanda, Fredy has Angolan and Portuguese nationality and began his senior career with Belenenses. He also spent time with C.R.D. Libolo, Excelsior and Antalyaspor before returning to Turkey.
Fredy’s current contract remains in place beyond this season, and he continues to be listed as a Corum FK player while the reported Kayserispor interest remains unconfirmed.
