Karim Adeyemi’s future at Borussia Dortmund remains uncertain, with the club reportedly open to selling the 23-year-old if a strong offer arrives.
According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Adeyemi is now considered Dortmund’s top candidate for a summer departure.
The German forward was linked with a move to SSC Napoli in the winter, but he turned down the Italian club’s approach. Despite staying, Dortmund appears willing to part ways with him, citing his inconsistency as a key factor. While Adeyemi has delivered flashes of brilliance, his performances have often been erratic, leaving the club questioning his long-term impact.
Dortmund invested €30 million in Adeyemi when they signed him from Red Bull Salzburg in 2022, but the return on that investment has been underwhelming. With his contract running until 2027, the coming months could determine whether he remains part of Dortmund’s plans or moves on to a new challenge.
Adeyemi has played 13 games, scored two goals and assisted three in the Bundesliga this season.
