German forward with Nigerian roots, Karim Adeyemi, has opened up on his current form at Borussia Dortmund.
The young attacker has been a standout performer for the German Bundesliga outfit in the last month.
Having started the last five games, Karim Adeyemi scored two goals, earning high ratings in all games.
Speaking at a press conference, Karim Adeyemi spoke about his form under new Dortmund manager Niko Kovac.
Although the forward said he is not in the best shape yet, he believes he has his confidence back with the help of the manager.
“It’s difficult to say where it comes from. But when you get the trust from the coach, it comes naturally. I’m very grateful to get the playing time. I’m not yet in the shape I want to be in.
“I can be even more dangerous in front of goal. I’ve definitely gained self-confidence,” Karim Adeyemi said.
The German-Nigerian attacker will be key for Dortmund on Tuesday when Borussia Dortmund takes on Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Round 16 tie in the Uefa Champions League.
