Karim Adeyemi focused on Borussia Dortmund future as transfer rumors fade
Karim Adeyemi has his sights set on continuing with Borussia Dortmund, turning down fresh interest from Serie A clubs as the summer window heats up.
The German forward is reportedly happy in Dortmund, and no talks have taken place about a potential move, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Last season, Adeyemi scored 7 goals and assisted 6 times in the Bundesliga, helping Dortmund secure a fourth-place finish. Though he’s yet to hit double digits in league goals since joining the club, his flashes of pace and creativity remain crucial to the team’s attacking play.
Despite past links, including a failed €50 million move to Napoli in January, Adeyemi seems committed to proving himself at Dortmund. His current deal runs for two more years, and German outlet Bild reports that the club would only entertain offers in the €65 to €70 million range.
For now, Dortmund fans can breathe easy. Their speedy winger looks ready to fight for his place in black and yellow once again—leaving the Italian suitors waiting.
