Kamal Rizq: Cittadella Vis Modena sign veteran Moroccan forward from Pistoiese on free transfer

Cittadella Vis Modena have signed Moroccan centre-forward Kamal Rizq from Serie D rivals Pistoiese on a free transfer. The 34-year-old moves across Girone D with an estimated market value of 75,000 and joins the Modena-based club as a senior attacking option for the 2026-27 campaign.

Rizq, born in Casablanca and standing at 1.87m, is a right-footed striker whose main position is through the middle. He arrives at Cittadella Vis Modena after a short spell with Pistoiese, who he joined in December 2025 from ASD Chisola Calcio, remaining in the Italian lower divisions throughout his recent career.

The move continues Rizqs long association with Italian football. Before his time at Pistoiese, he spent several seasons at Chisola, where his market value rose steadily from 50,000 in mid-2022 to a peak of 150,000 in 2023 and early 2024, reflecting his status as a key figure at the club. That valuation gradually declined to 75,000 by late 2025, a level maintained into his Pistoiese spell and carried into this transfer.

Rizq has built his career across a series of Italian clubs, including earlier stints with Union BB Vallesusa, Orizzonti United and ASD San Giacomo Chieri, consolidating his experience in the national pyramid before returning to Union BB Vallesusa and then moving on to Chisola. His latest switch keeps him in the same Serie D group, offering Cittadella Vis Modena an experienced presence at the top end of the pitch.
