Nigerian striker Kalu Uche has signed a two-season contract with El Jaish SC in Qatar. This move comes after his tenure with Kasimpasa in Turkey, where he faced issues with the management regarding unpaid wages. El Jaish SC announced the signing on their website, and Uche underwent a medical examination before being presented by the club. While the transfer fee remains undisclosed, reports suggest El Jaish paid a release clause of around 3.5 million euros for the player. Uche joins a team that already features African players, including Algerian Karim Ziani. Uche has previously played for clubs such as Bordeaux, Espanyol, Wisla Krakow, and Almeria.
