Kalidou Koulibaly might bid farewell to the Belgian championship at the season’s end. Long coveted by Napoli, the central defender from Racing Genk has piqued the interest of Naples’ coach, Rafael Benitez.
According to mercato365, Napoli’s management has decided to take action, initiating negotiations with Koulibaly’s representatives. Talks reportedly revolve around a five-year contract, underscoring Napoli’s keen interest in the 23-year-old talent. Everton and Saint-Etienne are also reportedly monitoring Koulibaly, whose contract with Genk expires in June 2017.
Koulibaly joined Genk last summer from the French club FC Metz and swiftly impressed, securing a regular spot in the starting lineup.
