Kaizer Chiefs youngster Donay Jansen set for second loan spell
South African outfit Kaizer Chiefs are expected to loan out youngster Donay Jansen heading into the summer transfer window.
The Soweto giants are seeking to strengthen their squad for the new campaign following an inconsistent performance this campaign.
Kaizer Chiefs will have to make a host of squad decisions, with certain transfer already being prepared by the Amakhosi.
According to reports, the Naturena-based club is ready to farm out the 22-year-old defender on loan for the second time running at SuperSport United.
Jansen endured a tough campaign, failing to secure a regular spot in the team. He made just three first-team appearances across all competitions this season, and the loan move didn’t provide the game time and top-flight experience the club had hoped for.
Nevertheless, Kaizer Chiefs have indicated they could loan Jansen out again, though no official offers have come in from clubs interested in the defender so far. His future will be decided after preseason, which he is set to complete under coach Nasreddine Nabi.
