South African outfit Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the departure of wonderkid Chukwudi Luvuno to Major League Soccer club Charlotte FC.
Luvuno, who featured for the Amakhosi U15 side in the SAFA Gauteng Development League (GDL) for the 2024/25 campaign, becomes the club’s fifth exit after Njabulo Blom, Sabelo Radebe, Siphesihle Tati and Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi.
The 15-year-old will be representing Charlotte’s U16 and U17 squads in the Elite Soccer League.

The teenage sensation has been tipped as the next big thing for South Africa, having showcased glimpses of good performance in the recently concluded season.
