Cercle Bruges striker Kader Ouattara’s season has been cut short due to a broken leg sustained during training.
The 19-year-old Burkinabe underwent successful surgery and now faces a lengthy rehabilitation, with the club confirming that he will not return to play this season.
Ouattara had made 15 appearances this season, scoring four goals, and his absence is a significant blow for the team.
His injury comes shortly after the departure of striker Kevin Denkey to MLS, leaving Cercle Bruges with a weakened attacking lineup for the rest of the campaign.
