Laporta Confident of Paul Pogba Joining Barcelona in 2016
Bringing Paul Pogba to FC Barcelona is among the main objectives of Joan Laporta, who has expressed firm confidence in the French star’s future at the Catalan club.
In an interview with Catalunya Ràdio, the Barcelona presidential candidate declared:
“Pogba will be very happy to come to FC Barcelona. I have a very good relationship with Mino Raiola. He will be one of our best assets. Everyone thinks he will fit very well with our playing system.”
Laporta’s remarks come during his campaign to reclaim the Barça presidency, and aligning himself with the potential signing of a global star like Pogba may boost his appeal among fans eager for big-name reinforcements.
