Juventus intensify pursuit of Senegal striker Nicolas Jackson
Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson has become a major target for Juventus FC as uncertainty continues to surround his future ahead of the summer transfer window.
The forward is expected to return to Chelsea FC following his spell at Bayern Munich, but reports suggest his long-term future remains unclear despite being under contract with the London side until 2033.
According to reports from Italy, Bayern Munich are not expected to activate the purchase option included in the agreement for the Senegal international, a figure believed to be around €65 million.
That situation has reopened speculation around Jackson’s future, with several European clubs now monitoring developments closely ahead of the next transfer window.
Juventus have emerged as the strongest contender for the striker’s signature and are reportedly accelerating efforts to position themselves favourably in negotiations.
The Turin club have been linked with Jackson for several weeks and are now said to be actively exploring different solutions that could allow them to complete a deal.
Juventus officials reportedly view the Senegalese forward as an important attacking option capable of strengthening the club’s frontline for next season.
While interest from Italy remains significant, the striker is also continuing to attract attention from clubs in the Premier League.
Reports indicate that Newcastle United FC, Everton FC and Aston Villa FC are all closely following the situation.
Meanwhile, AC Milan are now reportedly no longer considered active contenders in the race for the striker, potentially giving Juventus a clearer path if they decide to intensify negotiations further.
Jackson’s profile continues to appeal to several clubs because of his pace, movement and attacking versatility, qualities that have helped establish him as one of Senegal’s prominent attacking players in recent years.
The coming weeks are expected to be decisive as Chelsea assess the player’s future and interested clubs begin preparing formal approaches ahead of the summer transfer market.
For Juventus, securing Jackson would represent a significant addition to their attacking options as they continue planning for the next phase of their rebuilding project.
