After the thrilling quarter-final matches of the Champions League on Tuesday and Wednesday, Europe gears up for the quarter-finals of the Europa League this Thursday. One of the highly anticipated matches features Juventus Turin squaring off against Lyon. Antonio Conte, the coach of the Old Lady, emphasized the threat posed by the French club.
“OL is a force in French football due to the titles it has secured. The team boasts high-quality players, particularly in its potent attacking sector, featuring Gomis and Lacazette. We are well aware of the strengths and weaknesses of this team,” Conte remarked, as reported by the Gones website.
Conte further asserted that his team is “conscious of the capabilities of Gomis and Lacazette, who are capable of causing damage to us on the counterattack.” He added, “It’s a formidable and well-established team. Their presence in this stage of the competition is no coincidence; they have proven their mettle.”
