Juventus are reportedly considering a swap deal with West Ham United as they look to reinforce their defence with Moroccan international Nayef Aguerd.
According to renowned Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Italian giants are willing to offer centre-back Daniele Rugani in exchange for the 28-year-old Hammers defender.
Rugani spent the previous season on loan at Ajax, where he featured in 26 matches for the Dutch side.
Following his return to Juventus, he was named in the squad for the FIFA Club World Cup but did not feature in their 5-0 win over Al Ain in the opening match.
Aguerd, on the other hand, was loaned out to La Liga side Real Sociedad last season, making 21 appearances during his stint in Spain.
If the deal goes through, it would mark the second time Juventus have signed a Moroccan defender in recent years, following the arrival of Mehdi Benatia, who played for the club from 2017 to 2019.
