Serie A giants Juventus are planning to include defender Federico Gatti in an attempt to secure the services of Nigeria star Victor Osimhen in the summer
Osimhen is set for a permanent departure from Napoli in the summer, with several top European clubs expressing keen interest in the former Serie A goal king.
Juventus faces a daunting task in their quest to secure the services of the Nigeria international, with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United showing interest in the player.
The Nigeria international is currently on a season-long loan at Galatasaray after failed move to Chelsea and Al Hilal last summer.
According to reports in Italy, a potential deal could involve Federico Gatti, a Juventus defender who has caught the interest of Napoli.
Gatti could be the key to securing Osimhen’s transfer, and although negotiations will be challenging, Juventus technical director Cristiano Gvintoli is determined to make the move happen.
The 27-year-old has racked up 26 goals and provided 5 assists in 30 appearances across competitions for Galatasaray this season.
Osimhen’s release clause at Napoli is set around €80 million this summer, having been in the region of €120m last year.
