Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has moved swiftly to quash speculation linking the club with a summer move for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
The 26-year-old, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, is expected to attract significant interest in the upcoming transfer window, with a reported €75 million release clause providing a clear path for potential suitors.
Despite this, Giuntoli has dismissed claims that the Bianconeri are among the clubs vying for his signature, firmly denying any intention to pursue the forward.
The prospect of Osimhen remaining in Serie A has been a hot topic, with reports in the Italian media suggesting Juventus could make a play for the prolific attacker.
However, Giuntoli, speaking to Derin Futbol, directly addressed the speculation, downplaying any connection to the former Lille star.
“I am not interested in Osimhen. The rumours that you read in the Italian media are only to put pressure on us. “Juventus does not want the player.”
Osimhen has built a reputation as one of Europe’s most promising strikers, boasting a remarkable blend of pace, strength, and clinical finishing that has made him a standout performer in the Turkish Super Lig this season.
However, Giuntoli’s comments indicate that Juventus are looking elsewhere for their attacking reinforcements, despite ongoing uncertainties surrounding the futures of some of their current forwards.
