Juventus and Napoli are in a fierce battle for the signature of Nigeria international Ademola Lookman ahead of the summer transfer window.

Lookman is leaving Atalanta this summer despite having a running contract with the club. The Nigeria attacker joined the Italian club in 2022 and established himself a key member of the team.

Despite his contract ending in 2027, the forward has decided to part ways with Atalanta as he seeks for a new challenge heading into the next campaign.

Lookman has attracted a lot of interest following his outstanding performance for Atalanta in the last two seasons.

According to reports, Juventus and Napoli are currently battling for the services of the enterprising forward as they seeks to bolster their squad for the upcoming campaign.

Despite rumours of Arsenal interest, the two Italian clubs are said to be keen on securing the signature of the Nigeria international.

Napoli have identified the Nigerian as a potential replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and are poised to snap up the attacker.

The 27-year-old has made 117 appearances for Atalanta, scoring 52 goals and providing 25 assists, establishing himself as one of the brightest stars of the Gasperini era.
