JS Massira bring in Morocco full-back Ayoub Chabboud from Stade Marocain

Morocco right-back Ayoub Chabboud has joined JS Massira from Stade Marocain on a free transfer, signing a contract that runs until 30 June 2027.

The 26-year-old, who was born in Casablanca, joins JS Massira after one season with Stade Marocain. He made the switch to the Rabat-based club from Moghreb Tetouan on a free transfer on 30 August 2025, before completing his latest move on 2 September 2026.

Chabboud is a right-footed defender whose primary position is right-back. He stands 1.8m tall and has played across Morocco’s domestic competitions, including the Botola Pro Inwi, Coupe du Trone Marocaine and Excellence Cup.

His record includes 21 Botola Pro Inwi appearances and five outings in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine. He also made three appearances in the Excellence Cup, scoring once, while featuring three times in the CAF Champions League.

The move to JS Massira adds another chapter to a career that began in the Raja Casablanca system. Chabboud joined Raja Youth in 2016 before progressing to Raja Casablanca’s under-19 side in 2018. He moved into the club’s reserve team the following year and joined Raja Casablanca’s senior side in August 2021.

Chabboud then spent the 2022-23 campaign at Stade Marocain on loan from Raja Casablanca. He returned to Raja at the end of that loan before leaving for Moghreb Tetouan in September 2023, also on a free transfer.

After his season with Moghreb Tetouan, the defender moved to Stade Marocain, where he spent the 2025-26 campaign before switching clubs again. His latest transfer is the fourth free move of his senior career, following his departures from Raja Casablanca, Moghreb Tetouan and Stade Marocain.

Chabboud’s contract with JS Massira is valid through the end of June 2027, and he completes his move to the Moroccan club as a free agent from Stade Marocain.
