Jordi Kuange Makala: EA Guingamp B sign DR Congo forward from Nantes B on free transfer

EA Guingamp B have completed the signing of centre-forward Jordi Kuange Makala from FC Nantes B on a free transfer. The 20-year-old moves within the French system after leaving Nantes reserve side, joining Guingamps second team ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

Kinshasa-born Kuange Makala, who represents DR Congo, is listed primarily as a central striker and strengthens the attacking options for Guingamps B team. The transfer between the two French clubs was finalised on 6 July 2026, with no fee involved.

The move continues a rapid rise through French youth and lower-division football for Kuange Makala. Over the past three years he has progressed from under-19 level into senior reserve sides, with a sequence of annual moves reflecting his steady step up in level and responsibility.

Before joining Nantes B in the summer of 2025, Kuange Makala played for Stade Beaucairois 30, having arrived there from Marignane-Gignac-Cote-Bleue FCs under-19 set-up in 2024. His development at youth level also included a spell with Istres Football Clubs under-19 team, where he first came onto the radar of clubs higher up the French pyramid.

Now aged 20, Kuange Makala links up with Guingamps reserve side as a dedicated centre-forward option after consecutive seasons in both youth and senior environments across France.
