Jordan Ayew, the Ghanaian striker currently on loan from Olympique de Marseille to FC Sochaux, has been making a significant impact at his temporary club. Since joining Sochaux in January, Ayew has been showcasing his skills and scoring goals, attracting attention and admiration from fans and teammates alike.
Despite his successful loan spell, Ayew hasn’t given up on his dream of returning to Marseille and securing a starting position under the guidance of coach Marcelo Bielsa. In a recent interview with L’Equipe, Ayew revealed that he had discussed Bielsa’s coaching style with former Marseille player Lucho Gonzalez. According to Ayew, playing under Bielsa’s system, which combines Spanish football style with Argentine aggressiveness, would be a dream come true.
While Ayew is keen on returning to Marseille, he admits that he may not always see eye to eye with the club’s leadership. Known for being straightforward and not mincing words, Ayew acknowledges that he is not the type to be “political” or sugarcoat his feelings. Despite this, he remains focused on his current responsibilities with Sochaux and aims to finish the season on a high note.
