The incident involving Chelsea’s John Obi Mikel accusing referee Mike Clattenburg of racist remarks during a Premier League match against Manchester United has been investigated by the English Football Association (FA). After a month of inquiry, the FA has cleared referee Clattenburg of all charges, citing a lack of evidence to support the allegations made by Mikel and his teammates Juan Mata and Ramires. Despite being cleared, Clattenburg had already missed four days of the championship during the investigation.
