Jerrick Reckian Bemkom gives Shabab Al-Ahli fresh firepower in UAE move
Central African Republic striker Jerrick Reckian Bemkom has joined Shabab Al-Ahli from O. Rovenain U19 on a free transfer.
The 19-year-old completed the move on 28 August 2026 and will continue his career in the UAE Pro League. Bemkom, who was born on 31 March 2007, plays as a striker and becomes part of Shabab Al-Ahli’s attacking group after leaving the French youth side.
Bemkom spent the 2025-26 season with O. Rovenain U19, having moved up from the club’s under-18 team in July 2025. His transfer to Shabab Al-Ahli marks the next step in a career that has so far been shaped by youth football.
Before joining O. Rovenain, he was with FC Lyon U17. That move followed a spell at Paris Saint-Germain U17, where he began the recorded part of his club career before switching to FC Lyon in July 2023.
The move to the United Arab Emirates is Bemkom’s first recorded senior-club transfer. He arrives at Shabab Al-Ahli after progressing through under-17, under-18 and under-19 football, with his latest club competing in the National U19 – Group D competition.
Bemkom is now registered with Shabab Al-Ahli, having completed his free transfer from O. Rovenain U19 on 28 August 2026.
