Ivory Coast forward Jérémie Boga eyes long-term Juventus contract

Jérémie Boga is reportedly set to make his loan spell at Juventus permanent, with the Serie A side prepared to exercise a €4.8 million purchase option on the Ivory Coast international.

Journalist Nicolò Schira has confirmed that Juventus management is seriously considering finalizing the deal, with a meeting scheduled in April with Boga’s agent, Meïssa N’diaye, to complete the negotiations.

The 29-year-old winger is said to have already agreed personal terms with the club, following a series of impressive performances that have helped him integrate seamlessly into Juventus’ system.

“He seems to be fitting perfectly into the team’s system and thriving, which motivates him to continue his adventure with the Bianconeri,” sources reported.

Boga, who previously played for Atalanta and Sassuolo, is expected to officially return to Serie A by signing a contract extending until 2029.

His current club, OGC Nice, where he was under contract until June 2027, is not expected to block the move, particularly in the wake of incidents that prompted his departure.

Boga’s performances during the loan period have reportedly convinced Juventus of his value, with the club eager to secure his services on a long-term basis.

His contributions on the pitch have been instrumental in several recent matches, reinforcing the decision to pursue a permanent transfer.

While the deal has not yet been officially announced, all parties appear aligned for Boga to remain in Turin beyond the current season.

Juventus’ strategy seems focused on strengthening their squad with players who have already demonstrated adaptability and impact, and Boga’s anticipated permanent arrival aligns with that plan.

The upcoming meeting in April is expected to finalise the terms and pave the way for the winger to continue his career with the Bianconeri, closing a chapter on his time at OGC Nice and confirming his long-term future in Serie A.
