“Jensh criticizes Egyptian football officials: ‘busy with openings”

Gensh

Mahmoud Abdel Rahim “Jensh,” the goalkeeper for Modern Future, launched a scathing critique against Egyptian football officials, particularly in light of the selections made by Portuguese coach Rui Vitoria in preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Addressing the press conference ahead of the match against Al Ahly, Jensh began by commenting on the Egyptian national team’s choices, stating, “Firstly, I am Indian, not Egyptian.

I prefer not to speak individually and will address this in a general manner.

Why is there only one player from Future on the preliminary squad for the national team? Some have retired from international play, and others play for teams battling relegation or occupy non-playing positions.”

He added, “Future is just one step away from the quarter-finals of the Confederation Cup, competing in the Super Cup and the league.

I believe the officials are not watching the matches; they are simply ‘busy with openings.'”

The goalkeeper of Future clarified, “I hope whoever makes these decisions takes notice of us.

These players represented Egypt well in Algeria, and everyone there spoke highly of us. Our efforts should be acknowledged.”

He continued, “I know many won’t like what I’m saying. This team has been working hard.

Since the beginning of the season, we have faced three matches with a full team. Look at you, a player participating in a new championship.”

Jensh concluded, “I hope to contribute to the team. This is what I am trying to do—convey experiences to the players.

I am happy that we reached the final and will play against Al Ahly. I am trying to impart to the players how to play against Al Ahly and their fans.”

The remarks by Jensh highlight the passionate discussions surrounding player selections and the perceived lack of attention from football officials, shedding light on the challenges faced by teams striving for recognition and success on the national and continental stages.
