Jaydan Kamason pens new Manchester United deal until 2028
Manchester United defender Jaydan Kamason has committed his future to the club by signing a new contract that runs until the summer of 2028, with an option to extend for a further year.
The agreement underlines United’s belief in the 19-year-old full-back as a long-term prospect at Old Trafford.
Kamason has regularly trained with the first team at Carrington and was included in last year’s post-season tour squad that travelled to Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong, valuable experience as he edges closer to senior football. Although injury has disrupted parts of his current campaign, he has still managed 15 appearances for the Under-21s, maintaining his development at academy level.
Last season, Kamason was a standout figure for the Under-18s and earned recognition from the senior coaching staff, being named on the bench for both legs of the Europa League quarter-final and semi-final.
The new contract is viewed as the next step in his progression pathway, giving him stability while he pushes for a full breakthrough into the first-team picture over the coming seasons.
