Jaouen Hadjam, the left-back for the national team and Swiss club Young Boys, continues to improve his performance this season, marking a significant turnaround from his previous struggles.
Following his marginalization at his former club Nantes in France, which led to his exclusion from the national team and missing out on the Africa Cup of Nations, the Algerian player has found his stride with Young Boys.
In the latest Swiss league match against Zurich on Sunday, Hadjam made his fourth appearance for Young Boys, contributing to their clean sheet victory with a solid performance.
With a total playing time of 195 minutes in just two matches, including two as a starter, Hadjam has quickly adapted to his new environment, a stark contrast to his early-season challenges at Nantes in Ligue 1.
Moreover, Hadjam was also on the pitch throughout Young Boys’ Europa League clash against Sporting Lisbon last Thursday, showcasing his versatility and endurance.
In the initial phase of the season, Hadjam had limited opportunities at Nantes, featuring in only eight matches, mostly as a substitute, accumulating a mere 105 minutes of play in the first half of the season.
