Moroccan international Jamal Harakass is poised to begin a new chapter in his career, joining Saudi Pro League club Damac following his departure from Wydad Athletic Club.
Wydad confirmed Harakass’ exit, with the 28-year-old deemed surplus to requirements after the FIFA Club World Cup.
Harakass has reached an agreement with Damac, marking his first professional stint in Saudi Arabia.
The transfer is reported to be valued at approximately $600,000.
Damac move to fill the gap left by Algerian centre-back Farouk Chafai, whose contract was not renewed at the conclusion of last season.
Harakass brings international experience to the Saudi side, having earned four caps and scored once for the Moroccan national team during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
