Jalal Salami, coach of Morocco’s local national team, has issued a stern warning to the players of the Atlas Lions, outlining crucial details ahead of the commencement of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) in January.

In televised remarks, Salami remarked, “We consistently face challenges related to certain details that hinder Morocco’s bid for the African Cup title.”

The former Raja Casablanca coach continued, drawing from his own experiences as a player, “I’ve lived through this as a player, and I’m well aware of these critical details.

The team spirit must prevail from day one of the training camp, and player selection should be based on this criterion.”

“We want players who do not leak team information, those who maintain composure if not in the starting lineup, and individuals who do not disrupt the team atmosphere,” Salami emphasized.

Highlighting the significance of these details, he stated, “Team morale is of paramount importance.

If it falters, everything collapses. We’ve lost out on several occasions because this condition was not met.”

Salami concluded his remarks by expressing confidence in coach Walid Regragui’s experience, stating, “I believe that Coach Walid Regragui has the necessary expertise to choose the most suitable players.

The atmosphere within the Moroccan team is conducive this time.”

It is noteworthy that Morocco is placed in Group C in the African Cup of Nations alongside Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Zambia.he upcoming tournament is set to kick off in January, showcasing the best football talent the continent has to offer.
