Jalal Ben Tekia, a candidate in the Tunisian Football Federation’s university elections originally scheduled for March 9, 2024, and subsequently canceled on Monday, has urged the members of the football federation’s executive committee to provide an automatic undertaking for the university football federation’s election file for the 2028-2024 term.
In his request, Ben Tekia relied on Article 41 of the federation’s constitution, which allows the executive committee to amend or revise all decisions issued by leagues or committees under its umbrella—excluding those with disciplinary implications.
It also empowers them to undertake all files, in accordance with Articles 92/75/74 of the same constitution.
