Manchester City’s Ivorian midfielder, Yaya Touré, is contemplating the possibility of retiring from international football after the 2014 World Cup.

“I’m going to see what happens at the World Cup. I’m thinking about retirement, it’s a very difficult decision and I want to make it at the right time. But I haven’t decided yet when it will happen,” admitted the former Barcelona player, who is determined to overcome Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League tie, as reported by Daily Mirror.

“I want to leave on a good note, at the right time. The generation of players we have has always been seen as special, so we all want to offer something good to remember,” added the three-time African Golden Ball winner, who has accumulated over 80 caps with the Ivory Coast national team.

Yaya Touré had previously raised doubts about his international future following the 2012 African Cup of Nations final loss to Zambia.
