Nicolas Pépé’s resurgence at Villarreal has reignited Premier League interest, with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton reportedly monitoring the Ivorian winger ahead of a potential summer move.

Pépé, who joined the Yellow Submarine after parting ways with Arsenal in 2023, has shown flashes of his best form in La Liga despite a modest statistical return.

His performances, particularly since returning from injury, have drawn praise for their renewed sharpness and improved link-up play, reigniting speculation about a second stint in English football.

Although his first Premier League chapter with Arsenal left fans divided, his recent displays suggest a player finding rhythm and confidence once more.

That form has not gone unnoticed, as Wolves and Everton look to bolster their attacking options with a player who brings both top-level experience and dynamic flair.

Under contract at Villarreal until 2026, Pépé has found a measure of stability in Spain, yet the possibility of a return to England could be tempting — especially if a key role is on offer.

His combination of pace, trickery, and an eye for goal remains attractive to clubs seeking immediate attacking impact without an extensive adaptation period.

While official bids have yet to be confirmed, interest from both Premier League sides indicates a strong desire to add firepower.

Wolves, known for revitalising careers of underused talents, and Everton, eager to sharpen their frontline after recent struggles, could both offer the right platform for Pépé to rewrite his English story.

His first spell at Arsenal, marked by flashes of brilliance but ultimately inconsistency, left room for unfulfilled expectations.

However, a matured Pépé — now 28 and with added experience in multiple leagues — may yet prove he has more to offer at the top level.

Whether Villarreal are willing to entertain offers remains uncertain, especially given his recent return to form and contract length.

But with the summer transfer window approaching and clubs preparing to act quickly, Pépé’s name is once again circulating in English football circles — this time with the hope of a more consistent and influential presence.
