Italian Serie A outfit AC Monza have announced the signing of French-Ivorian midfielder Jean Daniel Akpa Akpro in the ongoing January transfer window.
The 32-year-old rejoins Monza until the end of the season from Lazio, marking his return to the club.
The highly-rated midfielder is expected to play a huge role for Monza as they seeks to make impact this campaign.
“Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro is once again a Monza player.
“The midfielder arrives from Lazio on loan until June 30, 2025. In his first experience at Monza he made 19 appearances in Serie A, contributing to the salvation achieved well in advance last season. Welcome back Jean-Daniel!” wrote the club.
The midfielder has racked up 17 appearances for the Ivory Coast national team since making his debut in June 2014.
He is expected to make his debut for the club on his return on Sunday against Cagliari.
