Ivory Coast is facing several setbacks as Cheikh Tioté, Bobley Anderson, and Serey Dié join Yaya Touré and Koffi Romaric in being unavailable for the friendly against Mexico. Tioté and Anderson were unable to obtain entry visas to the USA in time, while Serey Dié is out due to injury. As a result, Sabri Lamouchi called up Lacina Traoré and Seydou Doumbia as replacements.
