Ivory Coast international Evann Guessand is reportedly not interested in a move to Saudi Pro League outfit Neom SC in the current window.
The 24-year-old has become one of the most sought-after players this summer, with Neom SC, who recently gained promotion to the top-flight pushing for his signing. However, the forward is said not to be interested in a move to the Saudi Pro League.
Besides Neom SC, Premier League outfit Crystal Palace have also expressed interested in the attacker as they seeks to bolster their squad for the new season.
Guessand is prioritising a move to the Premier League or the Bundesliga, who are unlikely to meet OGC Nice demands. The European club’s offer cannot match Neom SC, with Nice growing increasingly frustrated.
Meanwhile, his manager Franck Haise expects Guessand to leave this summer. “As long as he is here, I consider him a player in the squad and we are working so that he can perform well, whilst knowing that there is a 90% chance of a departure,”
Guessand’s current contract with OGC Nice is expected to elapse in the summer of 2028.
