Ivorian international Sebastien Haller will be registered by Borussia Dortmund for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The striker is currently on loan at Dutch Eredivisie club FC Utrecht but will be recalled by Borussia Dortmund as soon as the season comes to an end.
Multiple German media outlets recently revealed that both Sebastien Haller and Youssoufa Moukoko could return early as the club seeks to make use of their services during the competition.
However, appearances at the FIFA Club World Cup may also serve a different purpose. Dortmund will look to put the duo in the spotlight as the club prepares to transfer them in the summer window.
It is believed that neither Haller nor Moukoko features in Dortmund’s long-term plans, with both players reportedly considered potential candidates for sale.
The two players will need to prove their worth at the FIFA Club World Cup if given a chance by Dortmund.
