Ivorian international, Seko Fofana has held his first training session at his new club Stade Rennais FC.
Officially unveiled on January 1, 2025, Fofana joins the French Ligue 1 outfit on a four-and-a-half-year deal for 20 million Euros, marking his return to Ligue 1 after an 18-month absence.
Fofana, a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations champion and former RC Lens captain brings vast experience and leadership to the Rennais squad.
Known for his commanding presence in midfield and technical versatility, his addition is seen as a statement of intent by the Bretons.
The move comes as Rennes looks to recover from an underwhelming start to the season under head coach Jorge Sampaoli.
Immediately after joining Stade Rennais FC, Seko Fofana joined his teammates for his first training session at the club.
He was spotted all smiles as he interacted and trained with his teammates as they prepared for the return of the 2024/25 French Ligue 1 campaign.
